First personal work of the young and talented pianist Iñaki Sandoval, accompanied by Horacio Fumero and Peer Wyboris, musicians who formed part of the great Tete Montoliu Trio.

In an attempt to capture the freshness, spontaneity and vitality of each tune most of the tracks on the album are first takes. All are originals with the exception of ‘Round Midnight (Thelonious Monk), My one and only love (Mellin / Wood) and Smilin’ eyes, a beautiful song written by pianist Stefan Karlsson, a great friend and teacher of Iñaki Sandoval during his days in Las Vegas.

Primer trabajo discográfico del pianista Iñaki Sandoval, acompañado por Horacio Fumero al contrabajo y Peer Wyboris a la batería.

El disco está integrado por composiciones originales y versiones de dos standards bien conocidos por los aficionados al jazz: 'round midnight y my one and only love, además de smilin' eyes, un precioso tema del pianista sueco Stefan Karlsson.
El resultado es un disco de canciones, directas y sugerentes para el oyente, que sirven de punto de partida para que los tres músicos dialoguen de igual a igual. Las líneas melódicas de Horacio conviven a la perfección con las del piano. Y de fondo, destacan las escobillas de Peer por su estilo y sonido inigualables.
